It is good for us all to remember what happened 8 years ago on September 11th. Our nation was shaken to the core. It is one of those events that everyone who was old enough to remember can tell you where they were and what they were doing.

On the anniversary of that date, we often are told we should remember – and I agree. But, we should take it a step further – we should learn as well.

I believe in a strong military, but more than that I believe in an omnipotent God!! He is where our strength as a nation comes from.

So, let’s remember what happened on 9/11 & learn that our true security is in Christ….

Psalm 33:16-22

The best-equipped army cannot save a king, nor is great strength enough to save a warrior.17 Don’t count on your warhorse to give you victory— for all its strength, it cannot save you. 18 But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.19 He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. 20 We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield.21 In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.22 Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.
